AND HERE SHE IS TODAY................

Our little princess had her favorite chocolate cake! She could eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner (so could her mother)! Love this smile waiting for her cake.....

One of her presents was her own "princess" light in her room....

Next week we go to Utah/California, She cant wait to celebrate with her Grandparents and cousins on the beach!!!!!!!!!!

We had some "girl" time today at sweet and sassy. She got her "up" do! Notice all the glitter in her hair! She also had her nails painted, and got a birthday charm bracelet! We met Daddy for lunch. It was a great day!!!! Oh and the smeared make up on her cheek was a star they painted on her face!!! We love you Addy!!!

~OUR SOCCER GIRL~

Most people outside our home think of Addy as a shy quiet little girl. It takes her a long time to warm up to people and situations. So when we signed her up for an actual soccer league this year we did not know what to expect. The Addy we see at home is alive on the soccer field!!! She is competitive, fast and doesn't like to lose!! She scored at least 2 goals in every game. Her last game was in the pouring rain and she was a monster! She scored 7 goals in the 35 minute game! On the ride home from one of her games she told me "Mommy, I don't like when the other team scores a goal, it makes me really MAD!" I was happy to hear this and told her that was a normal feeling to have! Coach Daddy has every one's attention in the huddle, except for Addy who is giving me her best smile!!!

Here is Addy Jr. (Spencer)! He asks me every day when I am going to "line" (which means sign) him up for soccer. Every game, and even other days while doing errands, he had to have his cleats, soccer shorts, and socks pulled up to his knees! He is also little but deadly!!! He is quick and thinks he is a lot tougher than his chicken legs give him credit for!!!

CITIZEN OF THE MONTH...

This week was an exciting week for Lincoln! We received a letter from his school saying he was picked for citizen of the month in his class!!! We were told it was a surprise and they would announce his name at an assembly. I tried to hide at the back of the gym but he spotted me and knew right away that he was going to win the award!!! It was soo cute..he had the biggest smile on his face. Afterwards he told me that he felt tears of happiness when he knew that he was getting the award! It melted my heart!!! This is a picture with his principal.... Matt and I were invited to a breakfast at school to honor all of the citizens of the month! This is Lincoln getting ready to eat his special breakfast!

Daddy and Lincoln with his prizes....

What a great boy he is!! Sometimes when the twins are in their "moods" I think of how easy Lincoln has been for us!! We love him so much!

This one is a little blurry! This was during the assembly when they called his name to come up for the award! We are proud of you Lincoln!!!

OLD DOG AND SOME BOUNCING!

Well it's official we have a senior citizen in our house.... Old man Louie! We celebrated with a dog bone cake and a new Yankee's collar! He is a big part of our family and makes sure to let us all know when he is hungry. He wont stop barking until he is fed! It is wonderful to have the kids in their crazy hour, and Louie barking for food in the background! I think he realized after 4 children that he had to make sure we knew he is still here!! Aunt "Allah" came with us to one of the farm markets here. She was so excited to find a frog!! It took us about 20 tries to get her to hold the frog for the camera! She was shocked when I picked it right up, I think she forgets that I was pretty much a boy growing up!!!

I love these pics of the kids jumping... they had a great time!!! This is Jack putting his entire body in motion! Love the hands in this one!

Addy.....

The two boys bouncing away! Lincoln was at school, we are counting down the days to summer break so we can all hang out together!!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!

Just wanted to write a little thank you to my mom! She is the the greatest! Having children really helped me to realize what a patient, selfless, hard working person my mother is! How she got 8 kids to do homework, bathe, brush teeth, to their sporting events, to church, and survived I will never know!!! It's getting harder and harder to live away from my family! I miss them so much, and my kids do too! Every day they ask when we get to see Grandma and Grandpa. The twins love calling Grandma or pretending to call her on my cell phone! My mom has always put her kids needs above anyone else. There is not a time that I can ever remember her doing something for herself. She is a great role model! I hope to be as strong as her at some point in my life. We always laugh about how she gets everything done! She moves from mopping the floor on hands and knees, vacuuming, on to exercising, making dinner, and the list goes on!! Matt loves when she visits, all the laundry gets done, she makes him breakfast every morning and the house is always clean! We miss her so much!!! We love you Mom and cant wait to get to Utah!! These pictures are from our summer trip! The one of my parents is at Izzy's making smores! We need to live closer!!!!

SPRING IS FINALLY HERE....

I am way behind on my blogging! The weather is finally consistently nice so we have been enjoying our new neighborhood and all of the spring sports that have started! This first picture is my little "8" year old Spencer. He wants to ride a bike without training wheels, take off on Lincoln's scooter, and boss everyone in the house around. I have caught him several times on Addy's bike with no helmet trying to take off! He is the runt of the litter but you would never know it by his attitude! This is Jack running through a field at Lincoln's baseball game. It was nice to have a field full of butterflies, dandelions, and bugs to entertain them so I could actually watch the game!

Last but not least we celebrated Lincoln's birthday (3 times) in April! He is getting so tall and his homework is really starting to challenge my math skills!!!! He is a great boy, so social and happy! We love having him in our family! He got a basketball hoop in the driveway for his birthday and he spends hours out shooting! He also got this new fancy scooter from Grandma and Grandpa. He takes off down the street with his new friends in the neighborhood... it is hard to see him growing up so fast!!!

This was one of his celebrations! He wanted to go to chuckie cheese's! It is a boy's dream: video games, pizza and prizes! They had a lot of fun, or course my camera battery died so I only got a few pics!

Here is my big boy! What a great kid he is! It is nice to have an easy going, mellow boy!! We love him!!!! Happy Birthday Lincoln!!!!
