~OUR SOCCER GIRL~

Most people outside our home think of Addy as a shy quiet little girl. It takes her a long time to warm up to people and situations. So when we signed her up for an actual soccer league this year we did not know what to expect. The Addy we see at home is alive on the soccer field!!! She is competitive, fast and doesn't like to lose!! She scored at least 2 goals in every game. Her last game was in the pouring rain and she was a monster! She scored 7 goals in the 35 minute game! On the ride home from one of her games she told me "Mommy, I don't like when the other team scores a goal, it makes me really MAD!" I was happy to hear this and told her that was a normal feeling to have! Coach Daddy has every one's attention in the huddle, except for Addy who is giving me her best smile!!!

Here is Addy Jr. (Spencer)! He asks me every day when I am going to "line" (which means sign) him up for soccer. Every game, and even other days while doing errands, he had to have his cleats, soccer shorts, and socks pulled up to his knees! He is also little but deadly!!! He is quick and thinks he is a lot tougher than his chicken legs give him credit for!!!

CITIZEN OF THE MONTH...

This week was an exciting week for Lincoln! We received a letter from his school saying he was picked for citizen of the month in his class!!! We were told it was a surprise and they would announce his name at an assembly. I tried to hide at the back of the gym but he spotted me and knew right away that he was going to win the award!!! It was soo cute..he had the biggest smile on his face. Afterwards he told me that he felt tears of happiness when he knew that he was getting the award! It melted my heart!!! This is a picture with his principal.... Matt and I were invited to a breakfast at school to honor all of the citizens of the month! This is Lincoln getting ready to eat his special breakfast!

Daddy and Lincoln with his prizes....

What a great boy he is!! Sometimes when the twins are in their "moods" I think of how easy Lincoln has been for us!! We love him so much!

This one is a little blurry! This was during the assembly when they called his name to come up for the award! We are proud of you Lincoln!!!
