MY BABIES ARE 3!!!

3 years ago our little family doubled in size!! Weighing in at 5'15 and 4'7 Jack and Spencer entered the world! I will never forget that day! They have brought so much energy and emotion (sometimes in the form of tantrums) into our family! I would not change a thing. They have changed us all in so many good ways. I sometimes say that they have aged me with their constant motion, but they have also given me so much laughter that can never be replaced! One example of the humor/potty talk happened a few weeks ago. They were laying in bed having one of their nightly conversations and I heard one of them say "me no like Barrack Obama" followed by "put him in the potty!" They are big time Mama's boys, which can sometimes be tiring. It also brings great rewards of hugs, kisses and comments like "mommy you the best mommy ever!" They melt my heart!!! This is my Jackie boy opening one of his many Thomas the train gifts...

This is Matt letting them take a bite out of the cake after the Happy Birthday song!

Here is Spencer opening his presents. It was soo cute all day long they sang and danced to "Happy Birthday to me!"

Blowing out the candles..they could hardly contain themselves or wait for the cake to be on the table!!

BOXES AND SOME CHOCOLATE ISSUES....

Looking at these pictures you may think that my kids only diet consists of chocolate! They do come from a mother who likes a brownie or two, but I promise they do eat real food!!! The last month has been crazy, we are in our new house, but currently under remodeling, painting, and moving into "big boy beds!" We celebrated an early third birthday with cousin Keeley. It was nice to celebrate all the March birthday's and not have to do it at my house!!
These two pictures are of the last couple of days in our old house.. boxes, chocolate faces and pajama's pretty much sum that week up!! I love this one of the two boys crammed into a box! The boxes were a big hit, I think that is what they will get for Christmas next year!

This is an early celebration with all of their Rochester cousins- It turned into quite a dance party (will post pics later)!

Grand Finale...... a good old fashioned chocolate boy!!!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S AND A "MINI" VACATION

Can you guess what we had for our Valentine's dinner... RIBS! We had Daddy's favorite dinner , although this year the kids ended up eating more than he did! The kids could not wait to get downstairs bright and early to open their gifts, and eat a little chocolate before breakfast!

Matt and I celebrated our Valentine's during the week with a night out by ourselves! It was a very relaxing dinner with yummy food!

Sunday we took off for our "mini" vacation to casino Niagara! We let the kids go swimming, rented a movie in the room, ordered room service and called it a night! Matt snuck off to TRY to win some money while we were all in bed! No luck in the winning department this time around. We made a quick trip to the butterfly conservatory Monday. It was quick because we ended up dragging Jack and Spencer out the door screaming and kicking! That is what happens when 2 yr old boys stay up late and don't nap!! Lincoln was the only lucky one to get a butterfly to land on him.....

THE CURSE OF FEBRUARY....

For the past two years Feb. has been a rough month for us. The first year the twins had R.S.V and had to visit the emergency room. Last year after getting the flu shots they both got the flu with the stomach bug soon after. It ran its course through the entire house. Well this year we were hoping for a better month. We started the month with Addy having P.J day at school, she loved it! She was soo excited to wear the silky pj's that Grandma gave her!! So far so good.. everyone healthy..... Read on!!! The past two weeks we have had the following illnesses: Lincoln stomach bug(2x), Jack and Spencer walking pneumonia with ear infections, Addy ear infections (also had to get her ear's flushed...not a pretty sight!), and hopefully the grand finale this weekend was Matt throwing up so loud it shook the house!!!

This is poor little Spencer! I came upstairs to put him down for his nap and he was curled up on my pillows already asleep! He loves that spot on my bed, I have several pictures of him watching his shows and you can only see his head over my pillows- Well we have 2 weeks left of this month, a move on the 28th and hopefully a germ free house!!!!

HOUSE FOR SALE...

Matt and I have debated moving for 2 years now... well we finally have our answer! We have been looking casually at houses.. going through some once in awhile and just keeping an eye on a few. We found one in a neighborhood we like and the house is similar to the one we have now. We put an offer in, which was accepted. Then we started thinking of the hassle it was going to be to sale our home. Boy were we wrong!! We put the sign up sat morning... that afternoon a family came to see it... Sunday morning it was SOLD!!!! It is bitter sweet for us, I shed a few tears all ready! We ABSOLUTELY love our home and have done a lot of work to it (thanks to my mom and Dad and their handy work!). The house we bought is closer to everything, and also in a school district we want our kids to attend. So come Feb 28th we are moving!!! I will miss this house SOOO Much! I am very happy we only had to load the kids and the dog up for 2 showings... that was not fun!!

HOPING FOR ANOTHER JOHN STOCKTON.....

This our little basketball player! He is playing in a YMCA league, with his favorite coach "Daddy"! He has made a couple of baskets during the last games, he is so proud of himself! It is fun to watch kids at this age play, sometimes forgetting that they have to dribble the ball first! This is a typical Lincoln picture... Dad giving instructions and he is peeking around to give a big smile for the camera!

He did remember to dribble up the court here- It is great to see his face light up when that ball goes through the basket. It is almost time to get serious and start him doing drills and running laps... Ha Ha! First we have to work on his "Dunn" speed!

A SNOW STORM AND A MEETING WITH SANTA!

Living in the North East we are used to this kind of snow! We love it around Christmas but sometimes we are still getting blizzards in March! Addy and Lincoln loved playing in the big piles from the snow plows. I did notice that at age 5 and 7 they are still eating the snow.... not sure if that is normal! The pile at the end of our drive way....

Every December The Country Club of Rochester (where my husbands spends many of his summer days!) has appointments for the kids to meet Santa. They do a great job! There is an elf that greets the kids before they go in- They also have a "good" list with all of the kids names on it. It is a nice way for the kids to tell Santa their wishes with out going to the crowded malls! Jack and Spencer had just one wish this year.. Candy Canes!
