Well it's official we have a senior citizen in our house.... Old man Louie! We celebrated with a dog bone cake and a new Yankee's collar! He is a big part of our family and makes sure to let us all know when he is hungry. He wont stop barking until he is fed! It is wonderful to have the kids in their crazy hour, and Louie barking for food in the background! I think he realized after 4 children that he had to make sure we knew he is still here!!
Aunt "Allah" came with us to one of the farm markets here. She was so excited to find a frog!! It took us about 20 tries to get her to hold the frog for the camera! She was shocked when I picked it right up, I think she forgets that I was pretty much a boy growing up!!!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!
Just wanted to write a little thank you to my mom! She is the the greatest! Having children really helped me to realize what a patient, selfless, hard working person my mother is! How she got 8 kids to do homework, bathe, brush teeth, to their sporting events, to church, and survived I will never know!!! It's getting harder and harder to live away from my family! I miss them so much, and my kids do too! Every day they ask when we get to see Grandma and Grandpa. The twins love calling Grandma or pretending to call her on my cell phone! My mom has always put her kids needs above anyone else. There is not a time that I can ever remember her doing something for herself. She is a great role model! I hope to be as strong as her at some point in my life. We always laugh about how she gets everything done! She moves from mopping the floor on hands and knees, vacuuming, on to exercising, making dinner, and the list goes on!! Matt loves when she visits, all the laundry gets done, she makes him breakfast every morning and the house is always clean! We miss her so much!!! We love you Mom and cant wait to get to Utah!! These pictures are from our summer trip! The one of my parents is at Izzy's making smores! We need to live closer!!!!

SPRING IS FINALLY HERE....
I am way behind on my blogging! The weather is finally consistently nice so we have been enjoying our new neighborhood and all of the spring sports that have started! This first picture is my little "8" year old Spencer. He wants to ride a bike without training wheels, take off on Lincoln's scooter, and boss everyone in the house around. I have caught him several times on Addy's bike with no helmet trying to take off! He is the runt of the litter but you would never know it by his attitude!
This is Jack running through a field at Lincoln's baseball game. It was nice to have a field full of butterflies, dandelions, and bugs to entertain them so I could actually watch the game!
Last but not least we celebrated Lincoln's birthday (3 times) in April! He is getting so tall and his homework is really starting to challenge my math skills!!!! He is a great boy, so social and happy! We love having him in our family! He got a basketball hoop in the driveway for his birthday and he spends hours out shooting! He also got this new fancy scooter from Grandma and Grandpa. He takes off down the street with his new friends in the neighborhood... it is hard to see him growing up so fast!!!Posted by Hillarie at 12:19 PM 1 comments

HERE COMES THE EASTER BUNNY...
Easter baskets ready to go........
Jack coloring his Easter eggs! I had to google how to get Easter egg dye off hands afterwards! We had a lot of pink and blue hands and fingernails at the table! They also decided it would be funny to crack the eggs and throw the yokes to Louie!
Here they are.... the one and only twin terrors!!! Don't let the "handsome" outfits fool you! They decided to hold hands during the picture, I think they were sending messages to each other about what trouble they could cause next! Also aren't they supposed so stop falling and getting bruises on their foreheads by age 3??? They both have the exact same bruise right in the middle!!!
Three boys before church trying to take a picture... this is what you get!! Whenever Lincoln is around there will be a silly face and laughter! It is one of the things that I love about him... always a happy boy!
Not much of a smile from the "princess" of the house... There was quite a battle over wearing tights with her dress. Needless to say 5 minutes before it was time to go, Matt had tights on her and she let me comb her hair!!! I know she needs to have a strong personality to survive this family, but cant she save it for her brothers?!?

MY BABIES ARE 3!!!
3 years ago our little family doubled in size!! Weighing in at 5'15 and 4'7 Jack and Spencer entered the world! I will never forget that day! They have brought so much energy and emotion (sometimes in the form of tantrums) into our family! I would not change a thing. They have changed us all in so many good ways. I sometimes say that they have aged me with their constant motion, but they have also given me so much laughter that can never be replaced! One example of the humor/potty talk happened a few weeks ago. They were laying in bed having one of their nightly conversations and I heard one of them say "me no like Barrack Obama" followed by "put him in the potty!" They are big time Mama's boys, which can sometimes be tiring. It also brings great rewards of hugs, kisses and comments like "mommy you the best mommy ever!" They melt my heart!!!
This is my Jackie boy opening one of his many Thomas the train gifts...

BOXES AND SOME CHOCOLATE ISSUES....
Looking at these pictures you may think that my kids only diet consists of chocolate! They do come from a mother who likes a brownie or two, but I promise they do eat real food!!! The last month has been crazy, we are in our new house, but currently under remodeling, painting, and moving into "big boy beds!" We celebrated an early third birthday with cousin Keeley. It was nice to celebrate all the March birthday's and not have to do it at my house!!
These two pictures are of the last couple of days in our old house.. boxes, chocolate faces and pajama's pretty much sum that week up!! I love this one of the two boys crammed into a box! The boxes were a big hit, I think that is what they will get for Christmas next year!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S AND A "MINI" VACATION
Can you guess what we had for our Valentine's dinner... RIBS! We had Daddy's favorite dinner , although this year the kids ended up eating more than he did!
The kids could not wait to get downstairs bright and early to open their gifts, and eat a little chocolate before breakfast!
Matt and I celebrated our Valentine's during the week with a night out by ourselves! It was a very relaxing dinner with yummy food!
Sunday we took off for our "mini" vacation to casino Niagara! We let the kids go swimming, rented a movie in the room, ordered room service and called it a night! Matt snuck off to TRY to win some money while we were all in bed! No luck in the winning department this time around. We made a quick trip to the butterfly conservatory Monday. It was quick because we ended up dragging Jack and Spencer out the door screaming and kicking! That is what happens when 2 yr old boys stay up late and don't nap!! Lincoln was the only lucky one to get a butterfly to land on him.....Posted by Hillarie at 11:35 AM 3 comments
